ASPHER-WHO Core Curriculum Programme

ASPHER Fellow Karl Conyard, SPHPSS, UCD presented the poster Planetary Health Education in Public Health Curricula: A European Perspective; The Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region’ at two recent conferences.

The poster was presented at the Joint Public Health Conference on Planetary Health "Healthy People, Healthy Planet" Institute for Public Health, Ireland in November 2022 (https://healthyplanetconference.org/). The conference brought together public health and climate experts from across Ireland and the United Kingdom to share their experiences of what has worked and what has not in including planetary health in curricula. There followed a presentation at the Winter Scientific Meeting of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine at RCPI in December 2022, with considerable interest from public health medicine consultants across the country.
