ASPHER-WHO Core Curriculum Programme
During the ASPHER Deans’ and Directors’ Retreat in Sofia, Bulgaria, the ASPHER CCP Team led an interactive workshop on defining core curriculum to support the attainment of core competencies by public health professionals.
The ASPHER CCP Team are very grateful for the warm welcome and organisation of local hosts at the Faculty of Public Health, Medical University, Sofia. The workshop was opened by an address from Prof. Anders Foldspang, Aarhus University, Denmark, who previously lead the ASPHER European List of Core Competencies for the Public Health Professional, 5th ED published in 2018.
The workshop was a success with 70 public health experts in audience taking part. The workshop was divided into specialist subject areas with key discussion on areas such as climate health, digital public health and public health emergency preparedness. The ASPHER CCP team would like again to thank the participants for their input.
