The CCP had a strong presence at the 2024 ASPHER Deans’ and Directors’ Retreat, held in Porto, Portugal.
Prof. Mary Codd delivered a detailed presentation on the ASPHER Core Curriculum for Public Health, highlighting the 35 Subject Areas and the contributions from the Expert Advisory Groups.
Additionally, ASPHER Fellow Karl F. Conyard took part in the Young Professionals’ Panel, representing emerging voices in public health.
CCP EAG Member and PhD candidate, Dr. Jwenish Kumawat, introduced a SKY Meditation module, aimed at enhancing the mental health and well-being of both staff and students in Schools of Public Health.
During the retreat, drafted chapters were shared with attendees, accompanied by a poster presentation showcasing the 35 Subject Areas.
